I wish my husband would be happy again because since his son and grandson died and he got cancer and lost his good job of 14 years with a food broker, he is very unhappy. Our marriage suffered, the family suffered, we lost our only link to the boys with our granddaughter, formerly named Laura Elizabeth McManus, now renamed Laura Elizabeth Savicki, residing last known in Illinois somewhere. Our Son's former wife remarried and changed Laura's name and told her she was never related to us and brainwashed her into believing it. We fought for 2 years for the whole family to get visitation rights. We Won. The mother said if we won, she would move out of state so we never would see her again. The family's wish is to one day be able to have Laura search for and find her birth father's family. His name was Daniel Michael McManus, retired from the Air Force and a disabled vet is buried with our grandson Peter McManus in the same grave. Peter was 2 weeks old.
